Présentation
The objective is to create, in a co-construction of knowledge process (“learning community”), guidelines to improve training and related competition systems for youth elite rugby players in Europe and to test an adapt them to the different national contexts. We know that the level of development of the game and the social, economic and cultural conditions into which it operates differ. But we consider that common principles could be found and shared by all, even if the ways to apply them are different. The less advanced countries in terms of performance (ranking) have
surely to learn from the most advanced but their own experience is also useful to the others and their way to proceed to develop could benefit to all.
To summarize, the outcomes of that pilot project will be the following:
surely to learn from the most advanced but their own experience is also useful to the others and their way to proceed to develop could benefit to all.
To summarize, the outcomes of that pilot project will be the following:
- build a “learning community” of European rugby national technical directors and associated technical staff with the support of digital tools.
- gather and analyse systematic knowledge and know how on training of youth elite rugby players in Europe
- write guidelines on the ways to improve training and competition systems for youth elite rugby players in Europe at different stages of development of these systems
- adapt these principles to countries with different context and level of development
- promote cooperation between voluntary countries at regional level through visits, seminars and shared experiences
