Abstract

The research project evaluates technological innovation project management from the point of view of work situations conceived in the context of industry 4.0. It therefore provides the means to better integrate the human factor in innovation processes, in particular by taking into account emerging risks for users and operators during the different phases (programming, design, implementation, delivery, start-up).
This research project questions the conduct of projects, intended to transform the design of technical systems into a conception of efficient and healthy work situations, where technology is one parameter among others. There is a need to design and co-exist other Man-Technology relationships in so-called “empowering” organizations. It is essential to know whether there is a report on this in these organizations today and who is directly involved. The relationship to technology and technological change will be decisive in the success of managerial innovations: disengagement would be an obstacle to accountability and therefore a major obstacle to the associated challenges: flexibility, subjective investment, skills development, innovation, agility.

This project therefore aims precisely at designing another model of human-machine relations, where technology could be understood as a factor of individual and collective development, supporting the projects of responsible organizations. Various questions arise: What is the position of the ergonomist? Who are the actors in the project? Who is the applicant? What methodology to anticipate future work situations?... It is a matter of identifying the conditions for a technological implementation that is capable, or developmental, through which individuals could perceive technology as an opportunity to do better, to do more, to progress and to learn.
